This is a thread for the first day of Advent of Code. At the time of posting this Day 2 has also come out, but I'll put that in a seperate thread.

This is a good place to post question, ask for help, and post your solutions.

You optionally can put code at https://lab.matrixforum.net. You can also use github, gitlab, or just paste right here with triple backticks (markdown).

Any language is welcome. I'll even encourage non-coders to join us. If you are completely new to coding you can just cheat with AI if that is your level.
